Aquafan is rightly considered the number 1 water park in Europe. Founded in 1987 on the Riccione hills, it took 90 km of tubing and 500 km of electric cables to construct, and in a matter of a few years, the 80 thousand m2 of slides, games, and attractions of 1987 became 150 thousand.
But numbers alone are not enough to explain the success of Aquafan, which today is still a favourite with those who, young or not, wish to experience more than a simple water park.
